"... Once I mastered the menu items I needed I could go on shooting and walking for hours without the camera making its presence known. What's that worth? And how will you know until you do your first 100 hours with it? And how will you know how much better another camera will be if you never put down your defensive spreadsheets and try some alternatives? If several hundred dollars of difference is too much for you to consider between two cameras, one of which you might own for years, then really, you can't afford this hobby. And if metrics and specs are the sole foundation of your decision making tree for your tools then I'll brashly state that you don't have the emotional intelligence to make it in this business either."
